BACKSTORY
Stealth mode. I use this when I'm looking for proper thumpy bass. It has super low profile fretwire on it that gives it a fretless feel without the margin of error of playing an actual fretless. That's why I put the Rotosound Tru Bass 88 strings on it. The big magnets on the stock Duncan pickup are a pretty good compliment to the understated nylon tapewound strings. As an added bonus, the black on black looks great... assuming you can see it.

Before that, it had those DR neon strings on it but I didn't like the feel or tone. I did away with those bright yellow strings but I kept the bright yellow strap I got from Couch to brighten up the look a bit.
Another thing that didn't stay was this amp. I have no idea what the heck happened to this thing. I don't even remember owning it. It is a loaner? |
